HERE is another excerpt from Robert S. Oculus III’s The White Book. (See previous excerpts here and here.) This section, titled “Black Run America,” includes a familiar description of the status-seeking behavior of white liberals, a phenomenon that has been noted and talked about for years.

“If I had a hammer…” the old song goes, “I’d hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters, all over this land.”

Dr. King’s Dream is a hammer. But it is a sledgehammer, and one that has been used since the 1950s to smash the old America into pieces — in the name of love, freedom, and justice, of course.

Who held that hammer? Again, it wasn’t the blacks as such, nor the Jews. There weren’t enough of them around. No, the arm holding that hammer is white  —  the hand of the Revolution that has slowly but surely overthrown the American elite over the course of the past two centuries.

But even this power elite could not impose its will on the country by its own might. It required an ideological army to enforce its edicts on Flyover Country — an Oberkapo of white Americans to keep the masses in line.

And the Baby Boomers were there to provide that army. These politically-radicalized, status-driven children of the postwar Affluent Society were used by the Revolution’s intellectual vanguard to form the shock troops of their takeover. These are the Disingenuous White Liberals (DWL): that class of mostly-upper-middle-class white people, motivated by white guilt, and utterly adept at cloaking their own fear and dislike of black people behind a mantle of self-righteous Liberalism, “that rare breed of white person who speaks a big game about hating whiteness; saving… every non-white person on the planet; helping destroy the achievement gap between Blacks and whites by becoming a crusading white pedagogue; and by being a champion of diversity.” [9]

Disingenuous White Liberals’ “love” of black people is in reality nothing more than a symptom of their chronic white guilt. They are mostly Baby Boomers, to whom being Cool is everything. Like all Boomers, they live in fear of being thought of as common. They are those journalist David Brooks’ “bourgeois bohemians” – “socially liberal, well-educated, predominately white, upper middle-class voters… clustered largely in expensive urban centers, along the coasts, around universities and high-tech regions” [10].

Ever wonder why so many of the same white people who bitch about racism and champion the benefits of diversity tend to live as far from “diversity” as they can get? That’s disingenuousness. The DWL knows very well what black people are really like. That’s why his kids go to snow-white private schools instead of to “vibrant, diverse” public schools. “[H]igher-educated whites, regardless of their income, are more likely than less-educated whites to judge a school’s quality and base their school choice on its racial composition” [11]. That’s why he bails out of diverse cities like Los Angeles and Atlanta and moves to cities that have huge populations of [fellow] disingenuous white people – cities like Portland. “Portland, Oregon is, of course, near the top of any list of Stuff White People Like. It has it all: environmental restrictions on suburban development, trams, liberal social attitudes, bicycle trails, awareness, an upscale population, microbreweries, sterility, and so much more. Not surprisingly, white people like Portland.”[12] (The population of Portland is 75% white.)

The Disingenuous White Liberal isn’t really interested in helping black people. His primary interest is in demonstrating his superiority over other white people – that is, over you. He is an insecure social climber who lives in fear of being thought of as uncool. From his lordly manor in North Honkyboro, the DWL assumes the mantle of the saintly protector of the black man in order to show other DWLs he’s not one of the lite-beer drinking, foam-hat-wearing, big-bellied peckerwoods he hates so much.

The new power elite had a hammer, all right: the Baby-Boomer DWL army. Using this army they overran every social and political institution in America. And once they had smashed the old, white-dominated political and social order, the DWLs were used to put the pieces back together into their new America: Black Run America.

Despite its name, however, this new Black Run America (BRA) is not an America where black people run the show. The DWLs know well from historical example what happens when blacks overthrow whites and take control of a country. Haiti, Zimbabwe, the Congo, Kenya, and the Republic of South Africa are what happens. Each was a civilized and prosperous country while under white control. Each disintegrated into murder, hunger, and chaos when whites turned the reins of state over to blacks.

Instead, Black Run America is an America where the full power of the State and of the news and entertainment media is wielded by Disingenuous White Liberals ostensibly on behalf of black people. From the Abolitionists to the Republican Party, from John Brown to John F. Kennedy, from the Disingenuous White and Jewish Carpetbaggers of the 1860s to the Disingenuous White and Jewish “freedom riders” of the 1960s, the Liberal elite in this country have waged war on their fellow Whites, all seemingly for the sake of the poor, downtrodden Negro.

IN the name of justice for black people, the DWLs have re-created America. Instead of the society we knew, a society which despite its faults was without doubt the most prosperous, most productive society ever to exist for both whites and blacks, they have built “the Great Society” envisioned by President Lyndon Baines Johnson. This “great” society of justice and peace, in the words of [missing word] is a society

•    where Martin Luther King, Jr. is honored with a national holiday, but not George Washington

•    where the existence of race is ferociously denied and labeled a “social construct,” but where “disparate impact” is used as a litmus test to assess and prosecute “discriminatory” employment practices

•    where the U.S. military worries that the armed forces are “too White” and discriminates within its own ranks “to promote diversity”

•    where 35 percent of African-Americans live off the EBT card which is paid for by the White taxpayer

•    where universities create vast “diversity” and “multicultural” bureaucracies as they raise tuition and cut courses in the classics

•    where black people get Section 8 housing vouchers, where they get TANF welfare checks, where they get Medicaid, where they get free government cell phones, where they get energy assistance, where they get WIC, where they get the EBT card, where the federal government squanders billions of dollars to tear down blighted ghettos and to create “weatherized” green homes for African-Americans to “stimulate” the economy

•    where every hotel, restaurant, department store, and private business is required by federal law to cater to African-Americans

•    where restrictive covenants are illegal and housing discrimination is illegal and Whites have no legal ability to preserve the character of their neighborhoods and businesses

•    where every public school in America is integrated by federal law and federal court decisions

•    where government contracts are used as a way to promote favored “minorities”

•    where police departments and fire departments routinely discriminate against Whites to promote African-Americans

•    where there are “hate crime” laws which require states to keep track of “hate crime statistics” and which impose tougher sentences on those who are prosecuted under these “bias crimes”

•    where the worst possible thing you can be is a “racist”

•    where the Catholic, Protestant, and Mormon churches have all suddenly discovered that “racism” is a sin

•    where the federal government squanders billions of dollars every year on the “Head Start” program

•    where journalists systematically fail to provide the racial details of shocking crimes and/or selectively ignore or promote crimes to advance their agenda of portraying African-Americans as victims

•    where the wrong racial comment or the wrong breach of racial etiquette can end your career even if you are a Senate Majority Leader

•    where blacks are portrayed in Hollywood movies as everything from scientists to fighter pilots to geniuses to the Almighty

•    where the race of comic book characters are routinely changed to promote blacks

•    where every collegiate and professional sports team has been forcibly integrated and where simply participating as a White Christian athlete on the national stage becomes a cross you must bear

•    where a Negro criminal can assault a White man who defends himself, and Hollywood turns it into a movie about a Hispanic who beats up two skinheads to protect an innocent African-American passenger from racist violence

•    where the White middle class is taxed by the federal government to the point where it limits its own birthrate for the government can redistribute their wealth to subsidize the Black Undertow which is responsible for most of the criminal violence in our society

•    where the Black Undertow is allowed to destroy towns, cities, counties and major metropolitan areas and where drawing attention to this is considered more shocking and outrageous than the violence committed by the actual criminals who have ruined Detroit or New Orleans.

•    where “diversity” and “multiculturalism”  are universally celebrated, but where unrelenting war is waged against the Confederate flag

•    where the immigration laws have been reformed for the explicit purpose of transforming America into a Third World country

•    where “whiteness” itself is suspect, illegitimate, immoral, uncool and unjust.

•    where the technology industry is accused of being “too White” and apologizes for its lack of “diversity”

•    where the Mainstream Media casually remarks that Iowa and New Hampshire are “too White” to hold the first presidential primaries in the nation

•   where psychotic drug users, schoolyard race gangs, and black women making clumsy false charges of rape can be taken seriously as plausible civil rights martyrs.

•    where a “civil rights activist” can be paid over $300,000 dollars a year for giving lectures about “white privilege”

•    where you are forced to conform and censor your thoughts and pretend your own personal experience with African-Americans supports the dogma of racial equality

•    where veritable mountains of taxpayer dollars have been squandered on housing projects, healthcare, food, welfare, and integrated schools for African-Americans in pursuit of the El Dorado of racial equality

•    where a scientist as distinguished as James Watson, the discover of the structure of DNA, can lose his position at Cold Springs Harbor Laboratory for making politically incorrect observations about the intelligence of African-Americans

•    where free inquiry and science itself has become subordinated as handmaidens to the cause of radical egalitarianism and where obvious scientific frauds are taken as seriously by the establishment as Trofim Lysenko was in the Soviet Union

•    where trial and error and experience is not considered a valid path to truth or a compelling argument against the a priori assumption of racial equality

•    which loudly decries “prejudice” and “stereotypes,” but which casually stereotypes and stigmatizes and pathologizes White males in popular culture

•    where a positive sense of White racial identity is culturally verboten, but where every other race is encouraged to celebrate and revel in its own non-White racial identity

•    where some 30,000 White women are raped every year by African-Americans, and where this fact is regarded as unfit for political discussion

•    where even hardcore libertarian politicians must swallow their individual pride and proclaim Martin Luther King, Jr. — the man who led the movement which resulted in the greatest expansion of central state power in American history —  a hero

•    where powerful American corporations like Pepsi shower racial shakedown artists with millions of dollars

•    where literally everything from religion to morality to culture to science to the political system to the capitalist economy has been hijacked, reconstructed, and subordinated since the year 1965 to the ideal of promoting African-Americans over Whites, where everything from the definition of justice and marriage to the nature of reality to the meaning of liberty and equality, all in service of the radical utopian project of uplifting and promoting African-Americans to “equality” with Whites

•    where every aspect of the nation is based on the fundamental premise that White America is wicked, reactionary, immoral, unjust, and illegitimate, something best tossed aside into the dustbin of history, as we plunge forward into a multicultural utopia. [13]

But Black Run America is a fake. It is is just a pose. In reality, Black Run America has nothing to do with helping black people. After all, BRA has existed for fifty years, and America’s blacks are in worse shape than ever. White liberals don’t give a damn about black people. Black Run America’s real purpose is to benefit Disingenuous White Liberals, the Revolution, and no one else.

Despite his opposition to political correctness, Oculus III has bought into the ideology in a few critical and self-limiting ways. He makes a point of declaring certain groups (Jews and blacks, in this case) out of bounds for criticism. As usual, the groups declared out of bounds are among the protected groups ordained by political correctness.

If Oculus III were doing this in a broader context of urging us to look at the validity of ideas on display, without making reference to the ethnic groups of their proponents, and he generalized his principle so that we would not paint any racial group with a broad brush, he would have my support. However, he turns around and immediately starts bashing a subset of white people. This is all very much in the tradition of leftist critical theory.

The majority of Americans are white, so it is no more surprising that the majority of enforcers of political correctness are white than it is to discover that the majority of cashiers, say, are white. We would recognize, I hope, the analytical weakness of any argument that made a big deal about the “whiteness” of American cashiers. Here, again, Oculus III has bought into the politically correct worldview by showing a hypersensitivity to race where it isn’t warranted.

When you see an overt anti-white bigot like Tim Wise (see his “drop dead” open letter to white conservatives, if you are in any doubt of that) on TV, there is no need to resort to vague calls to spirituality, and calls to criticize yourself about a “failure to take responsibility” are even farther from the mark. I don’t see any value in hating the Tim Wises of the world, but he seems so determined to be your enemy, you are probably hurting his feelings by refusing to consider him as such.

The conventional political wisdom holds that American foreign policy takes a hardline against Cuba because of the Cuban exiles in Florida. As is often the case with special interests, most people don’t care strongly one way or the other, so they follow in the direction of the passionate few. This is very much the case with political correctness. If it became fashionable to hire people in a “color-blind” fashion, and meritocracy became the ideal, the vast majority of today’s politically correct enforcers would fall in line.

In order for that to happen, we need to target the passionate few, like Tim Wise, and bring their disreputable behavior to light, and discredit them.

I have not posted the entirety of Oculus’s book. If you read more of it than what I have posted here you will find that he has not declared Jews beyond criticism. (The idea that he considers blacks beyond criticism has already been refuted by what I have posted.)

Given that multiculturalism largely benefits nonwhites, it is interesting, if not surprising, that the most influential supporters of it are white. And it is very surprising that any people would work toward collective self-destruction.

Here, again, Oculus III has bought into the politically correct worldview by showing a hypersensitivity to race where it isn’t warranted.

I’m not sure I follow you. It is not “hypersensitive” to recognize that the most powerful and successful whites are bringing their immense talents to bear in the cause of demonizing whites in general. The fact that they are white is significant.

Yes, it is important to confront the “passionate few.”  As with any dominant worldview, there are those who believe simply to get ahead and remain in good social standing, but there are also necessarily true believers, without whom the whole philosophical infrastructure would crumble. In order for true believers to exist, there must be a coherent worldview. Thus status-seeking is not sufficient to explain suicidal egalitarianism. It is necessary to expose the principles which animate the passionate few.
